A dense enterprise banking platform where analysts lived all day. The work: let them save, organise and re-find the exact views and transfers they returned to — without hunting.

The platform sat on top of a wall of data — VaR tables, limit utilisation, a drill-down wheel. Power users returned to the same handful of configurations every day, but every visit meant rebuilding the view from scratch.
The fix was a favourites system with scopes: star a view for yourself, keep it private, share it with a colleague, or publish it to the team. Each favourite carried a name and description, and search cut across all of them.
Let people return to a view — not rebuild it.
The modal had to be legible against an already-busy screen, so it used a calm surface, clear scope counts, and one obvious primary action. Save, name, describe, find — the whole loop lived in a single panel.

A small feature with an outsized effect: the views people cared about became one click away instead of a rebuild, and shared favourites turned individual setups into team knowledge.
The best enterprise UX disappears into the workday.
