Challenge
Citi Commercial Bank needed a unified User Entitlements Portal to allow high-end commercial clients to visualize and manage their entire relationship ecosystem seamlessly. The challenge was to design categorized transaction flows—Wire Transfers, Internal Transfers, Bill Payments, Real-Time Payments, and ACH Organization—while accommodating complex approval structures (same limits and approvers, different limits with same approvers, or unique limits and approvers per account).
Solution
My team pioneered the conceptualization of the User Entitlements Portal, starting with brainstorming sessions to define categorized transaction flows for high-end clients. We created initial concepts and selected the most effective structure to ensure clarity and scalability, then developed dynamic prototypes in Sketch and Adobe XD. This unified interface streamlined client oversight and ensured a uniform user experience across future applications.
My Role
After the team finalized the concept, I designed the categorized flows for Wire Transfers, Internal Transfers, Bill Payments, Real-Time Payments, and ACH Organization, tailoring them to handle varying approval structures. I created dynamic prototypes in Sketch and Adobe XD, presenting them to top business and tech shareholders to secure buy-in and ensure alignment with client needs.
My Leadership
Oversaw the collaboration process between designers, developers, and legal teams, ensuring seamless integration and compliance. Defined the UX strategy for working with internal stakeholders, establishing a framework that resulted in all future Citi applications having a consistent user experience.
